And so do features... The standard Earscan® 3 is a fully programmable audiometer, allowing customization of the entire test procedure, from the intensity step size to the frequencies selected for testing and the order in which they are presented. The Earscan® 3 can accommodate both the standard headset as well as optional insert earphones. Calibration is password protected to ensure the integrity of data. Built in calibration reminders ensure the validity of test results. With the supplied USB cable, data can be transferred to, or controlled by, any compatible PC software (software sold separately.)

With the optional Test Storage feature, the Earscan 3 can store data on commonly available SD memory cards. A 128 MB memory card can hold approximately 64,000 audiometric exams. Since the memory card is replaceable, this provides virtually unlimited storage capacity. Also available is a Test Analysis option which provides the Earscan 3 with the ability to perform baseline comparisons, calculate STS, STS with presbycusis and PBI results. An optional printer allows for quick printouts of the test results upon test completion. When all of these options are combined, it provides the occupational health professional a complete hearing conservation solution in one small, portable package.
